Kevin N. Heffernan

Mr. Heffernan is a trial lawyer whose professional experience includes more than 25 jury trials. His practice has historically focused on defending high exposure/catastrophic injury cases, with a particular emphasis on construction site accidents, negligent security claims and automobile-related cases. He also has had significant experience representing corporate clients in such diverse fields as energy distribution, public utilities, pipeline construction, material handling, commercial and residential property management, tire distribution and retail franchising. 

He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), the State Bar of California and the Defense Research Institute (DRI). He is a past member of the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel and the Risk and Insurance Management Society, Inc. Mr. Heffernan was admitted to the California Bar in 1988 and the Federal Court for the Central District in 1990. Mr. Heffernan received his Bachelor of Arts in Literature  from UC San Diego and his J.D. from Villanova Law School.
